Pho place for me meat is not enoughTaste is good
I ordered shrimp fried rice and noodle soup. Both had issues. Noodles were not really tender and broth was plain with almost no flavor. Shrimp were not deveined. Therefore you can't really eat and enjoy the fried rice. Place needed a good housekeeper. Dust was all over the counters and everything. I wish I could recommend this place. I will try again in the future to see if anything changed.
Pretty good stuff. It was very busy.
Best pho I've had so far in town
Great food and service. Reasonable price. Family friendly.
Great pho place, amazing foods will be back again to see you!!
Oh my goodness! The house special pho soup is soooooo delicious!
The food at Pho House is great. They use fresh ingredients, and present their dishes in an appealing way. They are understaffed, so the service is not the best. It's still definitely worth a visit.
Come to this place quite often. $10 for a large bowl of pho, and like $6 for rolls. Really tasty for sure.
I had to wait when I came in for someone to come to the counter and take my order- I was carry out- he was dressed very inappropriate but hey he took my order correctly and he was very polite. My food came out fast. I missed a memo or something because when you take your food to go, they put all of the ingredients, raw, in the box and the broth in the cup. So when you get home, you put everything in the broth and it cooks after 5 or so minutes. I was very impressed. The food tastes amazing 👌 definitely going back!
I always mean to explore their menu a bit more but always end up getting the house special pho. The food is a great value and this is probably one of my favorite spots to stop in. Service is quick, and I've never had any issues. Definitely stop in here if you're in the mood for pho.
The pho broth is great, but the bowls are very heavy on the noodles and light on everything else. The large order of Pho left me hungry. Looking forward to trying one of the rice dishes.
Best pho I've had in the AA-Ypsi area. I like that they serve the pho with lime and bean sprouts on the side and broth full to the brim, and I strongly suggest enjoying the broth both with and without lime before you add the bean sprouts or have the noodles. Portions are pretty good too -- I'm full and content after a small pho. My main complaint is that the raw beef is a bit too cooked and on the hard side, instead of half raw and tender as it is supposed to be.
I ate here on the inside the food was delicious and filling. I order takeout and the meat is very minimal I mean very very minimal it's sad I ordered beef and broccoli the number 42 It looks like broccoli and rice and gravy. I'm very disappointed
Pho was decent, not great or bad. Portion is on the smaller side, not much noodles or meat for a large order. The condiments could be fresher as well. The place is very dirty. The floor, table, and everything. It has a smell to it as well. Bathroom is terrible, I didn’t want to touch anything because it’s very dirty. This place need a lot of touch up.
Food was good, but I got mild food poisoning and sadly will probably not return. Not sure if it was the rolls or the pho that my body said no to.
Yummy and great food. Warm atmosphere
Delicious Vietnamese Pho. Very good portions. A small is 2 meals for me. Great winter comfort food.
Their signage says that they're "now open" even when they're closed or on vacation.
Best place to get Pho in Ann Arbor/ Ypsilanti. The vegetables are fresh and crisp, the pho broth is out of this world. The garden rolls are my favorite. If you are looking for an authentic pho, look no further.
Delicious food and friendly service!
The Pho was good but I never had it before so I thought it was going to be more like Miso Soup. Their number 2 appetizer was really delicious. I highly recommend it because honestly I could have ate 2 orders on my own. Pho House is a fun experience and the size of bowls the pho comes in is HUGE. I love trying new food and I would say it is worth a trip and I would go again.
Good Pho and Sandwiches. Their eggrolls and spring rolls are good too.
Good food, and low key! Great prices.
FOOD IS ALWAYS AMAZING!!!! As well as a good price! I just came in for take out and I love how they pack the pho, they do it where everything is separate from the broth - which is nice especially if you want to save pho for a later time! Also, the Bahn Mi was SUCH a huge size for the price! (and super delicious mind you)
The food was good and reasonably priced, but I couldn't give it more than 2 stars because of how laid back and sloppy the service and hygiene of the restaurant was. The tables were dirty and when we left, still had dirty dishes on them from before when we got there (see photos). A peek into the kitchen on my way out revealed stacks of unwashed dishes. We only saw the waiter twice when he came to take and deliver our order and no more, even though it was hardly busy. The place badly needs cleaning.
The Pho here is amazing! So rich and flavorful- a must if you are cold to the bone or just feeling under the weather!!
I had the vegetarian pho, and it was really great! The staff were friendly, the service quick. I came right at noon and getting a seat was no problem, though it did fill up while I was there. Highly recommended!
Friendly no-frills place with reasonable prices.
I got the #18 I think, one of the two or three excitingish vegetarian options. My friends got pho and all seemed to enjoy it as it was a chilly rainy day 🙇♀️I also got the coffee, iced, and it was super good! Lots of chili paste options and decent service. A really really long table available also
Not sure if the owners have taken over for a previous owner or not but this place needs serious renovations. The pictures of the interior and exterior look very different than what's displayed here. Overgrown outside and filthy ceiling tiles and worn carpet. Difficult to ask the waiter on recommendations. Felt very rushed to order. I might have ordered something different. First time having pho and would like to try a different dish perhaps
Owners are personable and kind. Always love coming back and having the pho here!
Great place to grab some lunch or dinner. I had a beef pho (#14) and I really enjoyed it. The soup was rich with flavor and just the right amount of spiciness. I've had pho at other places but this was the most flavorful I've had. The staff is also very cordial and care about the customer. I will be going back from time to time for sure.
Food is okay but service was terrible. Kept getting our orders wrong had to switch our dishes a couple times. Didn’t apologize once.
The chicken pho was very good. I ordered the beef before and I really didnt like the taste, but I came back and tried chicken and I loved it! The greens are fresh and it tasted really good. The price is also very reasonable, which is my favorite thing!! Definitely coming back very soon!
Not much options for vegetarians/vegans.The taste of food was average - not the typical flavour that you crave/look forward to in a Pho broth.Moderately priced. The portions of food served are good though.
good food, good price, soso service
I drive by at least three times or more. I think this restaurant is here to stay. Clientele: working folks, construction, college types, families with babies. The hum, music, noises and folks relaxed & all so comforting. Adequate texture, seasoned nice soup; a health food to be savored and I added more spice, which stays on the table. Sometimes it’s not what’s on the outside but what is on the inside.
The Ba'nh Mi sandwich was SO GOOD - House special !! Pho was good not great but was good always !!!
This is the best Pho I've had. The broth was so good that I bought two quarts for $3 each on my way out to freeze and make into soups at home. The staff was so lovely, and the value was great! Two or three big meals worth of food for $10 bucks can't be beat. The #2 appetizer rolls are also amazing, especially dipped in the brown "Thai BBQ sauce" and chili paste. My wife and I can't wait to go again!
Love this place. Every time we are in Ann Arbor we try and make a special trip. Their Pho is always amazing- the vegetarian Pho, to my surprise, was incredible. The fried tofu in it made the bowl. The spring rolls are also a wonderful treat. Small, crunchy, flavorful. They just did a remodel and it looks so much better than it used to, it was pretty run down previously - but with the new seats and everything - excellent.
Looks like a dive, but nice staff, filling and tasty food (#19), reasonably priced.
Great bowl of pho! Really cheap and delicious.
This is without a doubt one of the best Pho restaurants I've had the pleasure visiting since I left the west coast. The price is perfect. I wish I could have a beer while enjoying their delicious food. But the food is SO amazing after my first couple of slurps I don't have a care in the world, just a warm belly.
The outside and, inside needs to be updated. Could use more wait staff. Although the food was good, and I will return.
Hole-in-the-wall. Food made with love. Give it a go.
The food taste is going to be different even on the same dish depending on the time you visit. The restroom(toilet) smells bad, and kind of dirty. The food prices are reasonable. The taste is acceptable most of the time. I think the only thing this restaurant is popular is for PHO.
We celebrated the twins birthday with carryout! The food was great! My son really liked his Pho. All the family enjoyed the food. It was just as delicious as the eat-in dishes. I particularly liked that I could get my plate ordered as soy-free.
Best pho in Washtenaw County. The decor leaves much to be desired but they make up for that with awesome food.
We love love love Pho House. Everything is flavorful, food comes out quick and everyone is friendly. Our toddler loves it too, so bonus points for that.
